The atmosphere is calm, with clean surroundings, fresh air, cool breezes, and beautiful tree-lined pathways that make the visit enjoyable. Early morning is the best time to visit, when the weather is pleasant and the lake looks its most beautiful.
The lake is also a good spot for bird watching, especially between November and February when many migratory birds can be seen. Nature lovers will appreciate the peaceful environment and scenic views around the water.
Boating is available and costs around ₹100 per person. While the boating experience is enjoyable, the charges may feel a little high for some visitors. The lake and boats could also be maintained better. During my visit, I noticed that some life jackets were not in the best condition, which is something the authorities should improve for safety.
If you are looking for a simple and peaceful outing close to nature, Osudu Lake is worth a visit. However, if you are a tourist expecting a major attraction with lots of activities and facilities, you may find it quite basic.
