点评:Thursday 18th June and we revisited the Town of La Olivia in the northern section of the Island.
We parked up in the free car park near the swimming pool, there is plenty of parking about.
From there we started to walk about sightseeing around the Town. We walked the short distance down Calle los Coroneles to visit this old building.
Due to the lack of any documentation the exact date of of the building is unknown, so dates range from from the late 17th century to the 1740's
We were here in November 2020, although the building was closed we were able to walk around the grounds.
Sadly on this visit it remained closed the entrance was cordoned off and there was no access to the grounds. The main building was shrowded in scaffolding and girders.
There is a tourist route, Ruta de los Coroneles, around the Town which still lists this house.
There is a big sign on the gate which says "access prohibited". There is another sign stuck on the notice board which says "closed for refurbishment". Sadly someone felt the need to spray paint it.
Although closed up it is still worth the walk down to see it and let you imagination take you back to how it was.
