点评:After a paid shuttle ride to the visitor centre ( stringer advised as the walk to fall itself is long) I visited the nugget fall.
The walk: it is a bear track and many signs remind you of that
Being in “cub season”
As very very aware of my surrounding especially when alone at times
No running shoes!! Wear hiking boots and I am glad I brought mine .
Be careful as it is very slippery in some tree covered places from the remaining ice in may. Many people who had running shoes fell.
It took about 45 minutes each way as slippery and rocky and loads of people in front of you
The fall was lovely and full bc in may.
Bring your binoculars to have a closer look at the glacier.
The visitor centre was also very nice and brief with a small ok shop
but look for the elevator hidden on the side of stairs hurt your knees
Tricky walk due to mud, ice, slush and people but worth it totaling about 15k steps in fresh air
