Whitstable Town Centre的点评
点评：We live in Essex so normally frequent the heritage coast in Suffolk for day trips but decided to try somewhere different and chance the M25 and try the Kent coast instead. Really wish that we hadn’t bothered.
The traffic to get there was awful. A journey that was predicted to have taken 1hr15 actually ended up taking over 2 hrs. When we got there we drove down the hill and was initially blown away at how pretty it looked but then we tried to park…we drove round and round and round. Ended up, by pure luck, nabbing a spot in a charity car park in the school and was so grateful I paid them £10. The town itself is very nice, a lot of the charm of an old fishing town has been kept in the architecture but it was packed. And I mean PACKED. So much so that it was hard to even walk on the pavement. Finding somewhere to eat was impossible as again, everywhere was heaving. Tried to walk along the beach path, gave up and turned back as it was just too busy. Not a good vibe at all so we went back to our car and drove home. I won’t ever bother again. Overrated and overhyped. There’s MUCH better places to go.
