点评:I ducked into the museum around 1:30 on a super humid Tuesday, and I ended up spending almost three hours just staring at the fossils on the fourth floor. Standing right underneath that enormous Alamosaurus neck made me feel like an ant. You look straight up and the bones stretch out forever across the ceiling, with the predator dinosours posed mid-stride right beneath it. The way they angled the glass walkway so you can get eye-to-eye with the prehistoric bird skulls on the upper level was a very unique touch that I had never seen in other science museums before. The lighting up there was dim enough to make the displays pop without feeling gloomy. I barely had time to check out the lower level exhibits and the gem vault on my way down to catch my ride, but that dinosaur hall alone was worth the whole ticket price.
