Vicki shared the island’s rich history, from its earliest inhabitants to the families who still reside there today. Her passion and expertise brought the island’s story to life and made the experience both educational and enjoyable.
One thing to keep in mind: this is truly an adventure tour. There are no paved roads on the island, and the dirt roads—especially through the wilderness areas—can be quite rough. The tour vans definitely get a workout!
Despite the bumpy ride, the experience is worth every penny. Cumberland Island is a true national treasure, and this tour is an exceptional way to learn about its history, natural beauty, and unique character. Highly recommended!
