A wonderful day at Mount Edgcumbe!

点评：My mum and I had a fantastic time at Mount Edgcumbe on Wednesday the 12th. Although we have been frequent visitors over many, many years, we discovered some wonderful new experiences that made our visit particularly memorable.
One of the highlights was being escorted around the estate by Steve in his “Betsy” buggy. His wealth of knowledge, together with his warm, friendly and engaging manner, brought the estate to life for us. We enjoyed the experience so much that we happily took the tour not once, but three times!
Another real highlight was the incredibly informative guided tour of Mount Edgcumbe House, led by Maddie. Her extensive knowledge and enthusiasm truly enriched our experience as we walked through each room, learning more about the house, its history and the people connected to it. Maddie’s passion for the estate was evident throughout and made the tour both fascinating and enjoyable.
We would also like to mention the wonderful friendliness of all the staff we encountered, from the baristas to the gardeners and everyone in between. There was a genuine warmth throughout our visit. Friendly waves, smiles and a willingness to stop and chat made us feel so welcome and added to the enjoyment of our day. It is clear that the people who work at Mount Edgcumbe take great pride in the estate and genuinely enjoy sharing it with visitors.
