Kusadasi Castle的点评
点评：The castle itself has some absolutely stunning views across Kusadasi, and it’s definitely worth visiting for the scenery. However, in our opinion, you really don’t need to pay the rather ridiculous entrance price just to experience it. Even some of the locals we spoke to agreed that the price is far too high for what you actually get.
Unfortunately, our experience at the shop also left a lot to be desired. We bought two bottles of water and were told that we couldn’t pay in Turkish lira, despite this being the local currency. We were instead offered the option to pay in euros or by card, which seemed very strange and felt more like an attempt to maximise how much money they could make.
When we questioned why we couldn’t pay in the local currency, the two girls behind the counter simply laughed at us, which we found extremely rude and unprofessional.
It’s a real shame because the location and views are beautiful, but experiences like this really let the place down. The castle itself is worth seeing for the views, but personally, we wouldn’t feel the need to visit again.
