Island Planetarium的点评
点评：We were heading for a break on the IoW.. I looked at things to do and saw a planetarium, it had literally been decades since I had visited one so added that to our list.
I wanted to make sure it was open so popped along on the Tuesday, it was closed, but not to worry It was open the very next day. It looked like it needed some TLC but it's important to support local businesses.
I checked the opening days/times and changed our plans to go the next morning. We were staying at Norton grange just down the road and was telling a couple of other guests there about our plans for the next day. They like me had not been to a planetarium for a very long time so they arranged a taxi to take the 4 of them the next day.
We arranged to meet up at 9.45 the next day.
Got to Island Planetarium. It wasn't yet open. So we waited... 10 O'clock came, not open.. 10.15 not open, at 10.25 we gave up. 7 people who had made plans, paid for travel, organized something nice to do...... And the owner who advertised their business as being open didn't bother to turn up.
That really highlights the issues of the worst of British businesses, left 7 people stood waiting in the cold 4 of them approaching 80 because they couldn't be bothered to get there when they were supposed to.
We won't be back and I wonder how many others have had that same experience.
