Sangaste Castle的点评
点评：We stayed one night as a.group of 10 people, and this was truly a wonderful experience for us as catle lovers.
- The castle itself is in very good condition (we have travelled a lot around Baltics staying in manors, and this one is indeed very ok for a 1881 building.)
- The whole story behind the castle - The Duke of Rhye and his interesting life and achievements - was truly inspiring.
- The exterior and interior (hotel rooms and big halls like ball rooms) are a feast for an eye.Also there is a piano, and the ball room has great acoustics, you can play and dance!
- The park and ponds around are a great place to medidate and see.the castle from other angles, and also brings a romantic view from your window
- The Ringtall restaurant nearby provides good local dishes at normal prices
- There is an interactive museum where you can learn the manor history and how it is intertwined with the history of XX century, and you are welcome to touch everything!
- you can order a guided tour in several languages.
- the hospitality was at the highest level.
If this all is not enough, go to the forest - there is a good trail trhough the trees brought by the Duke from different parts of the world.
A recommendation - ordsr your stay, your visit and your food un advance by phone or mail.
