点评：I wanted to visit this museum because I have been researching my family history and discovered my grandfather was in this regiment. We stayed a couple of nights in Lichfield and visited this museum on our way home. It was a very hot day during an exceptional heatwave so we didn't stay long. But I found the staff very helpful and knowledgeable and have left with the name of someone who can help me with my research. The display in the museum was interesting but there's no air-conditioning so I struggled a bit with the heat. My husband found it interesting being a history buff, even though he didn't have a family connection to the regiment.
We did have a little look around the outdoor display but it was too hot and we needed to head home.
When we arrived in our car, we struggled to find the car park because you come to Whittington barracks first which is fenced off.
