点评:We visited the 1940’s day on 15 august 2026. We had a wheelchair user in our party and were worried about how we would all enjoy everything but needn’t have. From the train and station support staff to the stallholders, the cafe and shop staff to the entertainment: everyone was wonderful and helpful. Lots of interesting things to look at. Great train ride through the beautiful park, spotting deer and more entertainment on the way. Long queue for food but it was very tasty and sensibly priced thank you.
A special thank you to the lovely gent at the end (pictured) who took the time to adjust his uniform to look so good for our picture. Also to the lovely gent giving the perspective of his relatives from a German point of view. Very thought-provoking. And the lovely lady on the pick and mix stall who took the time to chat.
A great experience. Highly recommended.
