A delightful day out on the Buses at Zero 2 Bus Halstead UK

点评：having seen a video of this bus complex, on you tube, or facebook, it became a necessity for my partner who is a dedicated bus enthusiast...so we go along to have a look. I was not disappointed, both of us are physically disabled and use mobility scooters, the parking was easy, and hard park, but gravel in areas, but sufficient room to navigate to a solid path, plenty of good path around the site, room to move between the buses on display, everyone was very relaxed and friendly. the car park will be a ''green site'' for the future.
the cost to get in was very good, just £12.00 an adult, and £5.00 a child, the buses are very child friendly, and I saw a few climbing around the buses on display, with parent control...and all seemed to enjoy themselves.
toilets were clean and easy to find. they had bus rides to the local Colne Valley rail station, and also a local winery, which we did not partake of, but loads seemed to have enjoyed their bus trip.
easy to find the place, although I did think the sign was hidden a bit by trees, and we came upon the entrance rather suddenly, even knowing it was there as you could not miss the buses parked up in the field, to be restored, or use in restoration.
if your into transport especially a bus, go along and enjoy the day out, even if your not into transport, it is a lovely way for a family to spend some quality fun time together, take a picnic, although I do recommend an icecream from the bus, I had a 99' with flake, best I have had is ages...there is also a bus food van, with some yummy smells coming from it, something for everyone, a highlight for me, was the 2 walls with display cases of all the variety of bus model, all sizes, colours...a great collection. another was the old bus that I rode on in Chester many years ago, ( 2013) being on display,
