点评：This is a free location to watch the tidal bore come through (check tide times in advance). The building has bathrooms and helpful staff, and then you walk about a football field length down to and out over the water. A guide explains when the bore is likely to arrive (ours was 30 minutes later than officially posted tide times), the geological history of the area, the history of the bridge abutment you are standing on, how the bore rafting companies work, and the sheer volume and force of the water. Seeing the bore (crest of wave of water) come through was interesting (you can see it coming quite a ways away), but even more was all the whirlpools and currents left in its wake as the water rushed in. Watching the rafters come by was fun too and we saw a stand up paddle boarder run the rapids, which seemed crazy.
