点评：I can honestly say that Abbas was the best tour guide I have ever had, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is incredibly intelligent, knowledgeable, hilarious, and accommodating, and he has a true gift for making history and culture come alive. Every day was engaging, insightful, and so much fun, and he made the entire trip to Iraq an unforgettable experience. His passion for his country, his depth of knowledge, and his personality made this trip special in ways that are difficult to put into words.
But what truly sets him apart is the kind of person he is. During the trip, I got sick and needed to go to the ER in the middle of the night. Without hesitation, he took me to the hospital, stayed with us the entire time, handled the logistics, helped me get the medications I needed, and made sure I was okay for the remainder of the trip. He went so far above and beyond what anyone could ever expect from a tour guide. Being sick in a foreign country can be incredibly stressful and scary, but he made me feel safe, cared for, and in good hands. I will never forget the kindness and genuine concern he showed me during such a vulnerable moment.
If you're considering visiting Iraq, I cannot imagine a better person to experience it with. He helped make our trip one of the most memorable experiences of my life, and I am so grateful to have met him. You will be in the best possible hands with him!
