点评：What a hidden gem this is, located in the village of Walsingham hosting a range of wines and other beverages which would rival a much larger community. Vined Me now offers delicious food in addition to drinks and we enjoyed tapas on a late Sunday afternoon. The venue attracts local residents as well as visitors to the area - on our visit a lively quiz was taking place on the outside terrace. Inside was peaceful with some gentle background music allowing us to discuss the food and wine with the knowledgeable staff. We chose 3 wines by the glass to accompany our meal, selecting two local wines and a Spanish alvarino. We bought a bottle of the Winbirri Solaris to take home. Once we’d chosen our food it all arrived promptly, starting with some complimentary pretzels and some bread and olives. The Wells crab cakes, creamy chicken strips and salt & pepper squid that we shared were very tasty and soon demolished. If you plan a visit do check out their social media for current events (music nights, pizza and other entertainment) and food service times. We’ll certainly be back on our next visit to North Norfolk and perhaps we’ll try their other venue at Thornham.
