点评:This was a rather unique experience for our entire family of 15, with three generations enjoying the visit. Located in a semi-rural area, this beautiful place is a chocolate factory, a small restaurant and an lovely garden, all in one. We've been to other chocolate producing places before in other parts of the world, but this was unique, and better than all others. The two co-owners made a fabulous presentation of the history of chocolate, with emphasis on the role of first nations in Central and South America. Their presentation was not only highly informative, but it was quite entertaining, with an abundant dose of healthy humor. During the presentation you get to taste several levels of chocolate, including hot chocolate as prepared by the locals. We then had a light lunch and enjoyed browsing through the small gif shop. This is a very enjoyable and informative tour, well worth the 2-3 hours as well as the ride from San Jose.
