点评:As an interior designer, I like to think I understand how space and perception work - the Museum of Illusions on Kloof Street very quickly proved me wrong, and it was absolutely brilliant. With over 60 exhibits including holograms, mirror installations, perspective rooms and optical illusions, this place is genuinely mind-bending from start to finish. The Vortex tunnel had our whole group losing the plot, the Tilted Room is beautifully disorienting, and the Cape Town-specific touches - Madiba's watchful eyes, the upside-down cable car, the Bo-Kaap facade that is actually a floor - give it such a wonderful local feel. Staff were warm and enthusiastic, the space is well thought out, and at R250 a ticket it is absolutely worth every cent. Whether you're visiting with friends, kids, students or just your own curious mind, do not skip this one - it's one of the most fun and surprisingly educational experiences Cape Town has to offer!
