My third trip with Fossil Junkies. Always fantastic.

点评：I’ve been diving with Fossil Junkies a couple of times. Always an awesome, unique (for me as a reef diver) experience.
Yesterday, I went with them to the Peace River for the first time. So cool. First, I’d never been on an airboat - traveling in the river, watching birds and gators in their natural environment was fantastic.
Second, I’d never sifted for fossils. Carrie did an awesome presentation on them - showing us various finds and helping us understand what to look for. Jen and Dennis made sure we all understood what we were doing. They set us up and checked on us throughout our visit - digging a scoop here and there but more importantly, looking at what we were sifting - with us, and more experienced eyes - helping us figure out what things were.
I brought nothing except myself, sunscreen, booties, a ball cap and my lunch (to put in the big onboard cooler). The gear for digging and sifting was provided. They have water onboard, and were fantastic about reminding us to drink it.
No matter whether you dive with them, or sift at the river, I highly recommend Fossil Junkies. I’ve had nothing but great experiences.
