点评：We visited Kennack Sands in late July during the school holidays. It’s a stunning beach, but our experience was marred by irresponsible dog owners and a total lack of enforcement.
A seasonal dog ban is supposed to apply to the main West Beach between 10 AM and 6 PM in July and August, yet people blatantly ignored it. Owners brought their dogs onto the main beach anyway—I even saw a dog urinate on someone’s jacket while the owner pretended not to notice. Without a dog warden in sight, people simply do as they please.
The beach café serves excellent food, but the entire dining area was overrun with dogs. Eating surrounded by the smell of wet dogs, flying dander, and loose fur is a major sanitation issue, and it makes the space completely unsuitable for anyone with pet allergies. There needs to be far better enforcement of the beach ban and basic hygiene standards in the dining areas.
