Not my kinda place - Benidorm on the Black Sea Coast.

点评：My partner and I were recently staying further down the coast in Nessebar. While she spent the day soaking up the sun, I hopped on the bus for a wander into Sunny Beach.
To put it bluntly, the place really isn't my thing—it’s basically "Benidorm" on the Black Sea coast. Think Blackpool, but with a bigger beach and a lot more sunshine.
It is essentially wall-to-wall hotels, bars, and tat-shops all selling the exact same stuff. My visit was during the day, so things were relatively quiet and the fairground attractions were all closed. I definitely get the impression that the whole place only wakes up after dark. I also noticed plenty of English accents around, which is different to Nessebar, where British tourists are in the minority.
Prices for most things, including food in the two bars I visited, felt quite expensive—UK high-street prices at best, and sometimes even more. Locals at our hotel explained that this is largely due to the country's recent adoption of the euro, which has pushed up the cost of living dramatically.
Ultimately, it’s not my kind of resort, but I can certainly see the appeal for others, particularly families looking for the familiar comforts of home.
