Good experience.But needs overall improvement

点评：My professor once asked me which all museums I had visited. And my answer - The Louvre Museum ,Paris , thé Smithsonian Museums Washington DC , the Vatican Museum… And the professor asked me why I had not visited any in Chennai in spite of living here for so long.
And that’s when it entered my bucket list. However I was a bit disappointed. The unkept grounds, the lack of directions , the rude staff.. I was sad to see such wealth displayed so casually with no real thought or concern. The Ravi Varma painting were extraordinary but so poorly lit that you could barely see the faces or features. Many of the exhibition halls were closed for renovation. Some exhibits were kept in the open and no one visited these areas . The architecture of the buildings , however, is extraordinary
I was went on a Sunday and it was crowded. In spite of the poor maintenance I would recommend visiting this place for its architecture and the range of exhibits. Just like all the people who throng to this place.
With the right effort it can rise up to international standards.
