点评:The people who work here are nice, dedicated people, so I hate to post this but – this ride is NOT SAFE. We went on a 2-hour trail ride for beginners. 90 minutes into the ride we were in a grassy field on the top of a butte when one of the horses “spooked” – which led to two more getting spooked – and all three horses threw their riders (our friends). Two of our friends ended up in ambulance rides to ER/in hospital all day, one with a broken rib, the other with two hairline spinal fractures, all three of them bruised and battered. FYI we are all older adults, in our fifties and sixties, and the two most hurt were fairly experienced riders compared to the rest of us.
Also have to say that the first 30 minutes of the trail ride, on steep and narrow switchback trails on the side of the mountain slopes, were scary to me at the time--but in hindsight, they could have been actually deadly if a horse had spooked at this point in the trail.
At the Dickinson ER, the nurse heard the stable where we had been riding and commented they get a LOT of injuries from there. I realize that is what we would legally call “hearsay” – but it did resonate.
