£71 for two hours, extra parking, a broken shark tunnel and a £22 teddy — feels like a cash grab now
Blue Planet Aquarium的点评
点评:Visited with two adults and one child. Tickets came to £71 and we were in and out in about two hours. First thing on arrival we were told parking was another £3 on top. That set the tone.
The shark tunnels are meant to be the highlight. The conveyor belt was broken, so you just walk through, and the tunnels themselves weren’t clean. It’s hard to feel immersed when the main attraction is out of order and looking neglected.
The shop is another sting. A teddy was £22. Everywhere you turn it’s another add-on. It doesn’t feel like a day out anymore — it feels like they want as much as they can get from you once you’re through the door. No leaflet handed to us yet we saw other kids walking round filling them out. The toilets are disgusting and the toilet seats are nearly falling off. The lock to the gents cubicle nearly got me locked in.
This place has gone downhill. There’s no sense of care or pride in it now. For the price, the time you actually spend there, and the condition of the exhibits, it isn’t worth it. Wouldn’t rush back.
