点评:Visited on 24 March to celebrate my child’s 2nd birthday and unfortunately the whole experience was extremely disappointing—especially considering the £62+ entry cost.
A large number of exhibits were closed or in poor, run-down condition, which significantly reduced what there was to see and made it feel like very poor value for money.
The parking situation was confusing and poorly managed. I was charged £3 despite there being no clear system in place, and when leaving, the exit was locked. I ended up having to drive through what looked like a car dealership forecourt and follow a one-way route out, which felt unsafe and completely unacceptable.
Inside, the aquarium was chaotic due to multiple school trips. While that’s understandable, there were nowhere near enough staff to manage the crowds or help visitors. I couldn’t find anyone to ask for directions, which made the whole visit stressful—especially with a toddler.
To make matters worse, the response I received after raising these concerns was very poor and did not properly address the issues.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience on what should have been a special day. I would not recommend visiting at this time.
