Lee Valley White Water Centre的点评
点评：As a work social, 14 of us went white water rafting with GLL and Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, hiring two rafts for the group. We had an incredible time — it was so much fun! The staff were so helpful and encouraging throughout. Two of our group were a little nervous and not confident swimmers, but they had the best time; they felt supported and confident in the instructors the whole way through. The instructions given were really clear and easy to understand, which meant we were able to make the most of our time on the water. It was such a great way to bond as a group and make some brilliant memories together — a proper full-body workout, but so much fun! Ty, one of our instructors, gave us the best possible experience.
On the organisational side, although we arrived on time, we were told someone would come to meet us and explain what to do and where to go. It seemed like we were forgotten about, and we ended up waiting around for a while before I went and approached staff myself. We were then told to hurry as we'd lost time, which felt like unnecessary pressure when getting changed. Overall it felt a little unorganised on arrival. We were also told that, as a large group, we'd have a dedicated room to store our belongings instead of using the lockers, but no one showed us to this room. When we were changed and went looking for it ourselves, other staff told us to just use the lockers instead, as there wasn't room for us after all. The waivers had been sent to us in advance, which was great, but it would have been even better if the arrival form (covering dates of birth, medical conditions, and allergies) had also been sent ahead of time — this would have saved a good amount of time at check-in. Otherwise it was a great experience.
