点评:The Osaka Aquarium was a great experience for me. Be sure to get there early. We got there at about 10 AM, but could only score tickets for 11:10 AM due to the process they use. They have a set number of admissions for each time zone, and when the most recent one gets filled with people who have reserved a ticket, they push yours to the next most recent time. If you have to wait, I recommend going to the nearby Tempozan Market Place to shop around. It can get moderately crowded in the aquarium at the time I went (11:10ish to 1:40ish), but the aquarium itself is still very peaceful. 2-3 hours is a good amount of time to stay in the aquarium, but could be longer if you decide to go get food or shop around in their "Official museum shop". They even have 2 whale sharks in their Pacific Ocean Tank, which stretches 3 floors and has 5400 tons of water. If you're lucky, you can even see staff feeding animals like otters around the start of your visit, or workers washing a penguin exhibit towards the end, as I did. Overall, this is a very big, great, and neat aquarium that definitely deserves a visit by Osaka tourists. Highly recommend spending a few hours here.
