Ueno Zoo - A Great Place for a Day Out 10/10!!
上野动物园的点评
点评：Have travelled to a number of Zoos around the world and I would say that Ueno stood out as being an excellent and well presented zoo located right in the heart of the busy city of Tokyo.
It is very inexpensive to visit. This means it is affordable for everyone and a lot of people visit the facility. While we were there we saw a Sea Lion cared for by the staff while being constantly feed fish while some cream was applied to its hind flipper and drops put in its eyes, Throughout care of the creatures was evident, the enclosures seemed very clean and tidy and the animals seemed very content.
You could easily spend all day there and we saw all the animals easily. The Giant Pandas were not on show and their enclosure is being rebuilt at this time.
There are quite a few unique (at least to us) species on display and I would recommend a visit and the canteen is quite good too for a very reasonable and tasty lunch. 10/10!!
