科纳拉克太阳神庙的点评
点评：This place is clean and well maintained and a wonderful piece of architecture and culture. There are guides in local languages and very few english speaking guides. The sculptures depict gods and goddeses and lots of erotic poses.
Its better to use sunscreen and a hat as the place is a vast open space. There are paid toilets at the entrance which are well maintained. Mercifully there is no plastic trash around. There is an admission fee of 50 rupees . There are many stalls outside the site which sell souvenirs and food items. There is a an air conditioned Kamat restaurant near the exit gate and it serves good food and is reasonably priced. I visited at the end of the tourist season and the place was not too crowded. If you view the monument in detail, the whole experience can take around 2 hours.
