点评:I visited this palace once and was really excited to explore it because of all the good things I had heard. Even from the outside, the palace looked absolutely stunning. The architecture, detailing, curves, and patterns are amazing it’s hard to believe such a masterpiece was built so many years ago.
Unfortunately, my experience was affected by the huge weekend crowd. There was a long queue just for entry, and due to the rush, I couldn’t even go inside and properly explore the interiors. So I missed seeing the famous paintings and rooms that people usually talk about.
The ticket price was around ₹120 for Indian visitors, while I noticed foreign tourists had a much higher entry fee of around ₹1000, which felt like a big difference. Parking was available and cost around ₹50, and there was also a free sandal-keeping facility which seemed well managed.
The palace itself looked well maintained from outside, but with such heavy crowds, visitor management definitely needs improvement. An online booking or time-slot system would make the experience much smoother.
Overall, even though I couldn’t go inside, the palace still left a strong impression. It’s a beautiful and historic place worth visiting but I would strongly recommend going on a weekday or during non-peak hours to enjoy it properly.
