Very pretty zoo and amusement park, not cheap and a few steep hills but had a great time

点评：My wife and I enjoyed around 4.5 hours at Dyreparken on a cruise ship excursion from Kristiansand. I was very interested in the mountain coaster, Jungel Bob, which was fun although the queue was around an hour after it broke down for a short period.
The zoo is really pretty, possibly the most visually stunning zoo I have visited anywhere, but I didn't realise how hilly it would be...it was a good workout, and as it was a hot day many of the animals were sheltering or asleep. I loved the quirky wood carvings and trolls that were hidden around the park.
We could have done with a full day there as we ran out of time to see all the exhibits and experience all the amusement rides, so if I came back we would need longer than the 4.5 hours we had on our excursion. The place is huge...which is great news for the animals as they have plenty of space to roam, but harder work for the guests in hot weather.
Overall though we had a really good day, even though it was an expensive place to visit.
