点评：We had a brilliant stay at Neidpath! This 14th century castle is absolutely gorgeous and we loved that most it remains as original as possible and practical. We met the owner Lulu who was a delight and manager Katarina was brilliant in explaining the history of the castle and showing us everything we needed to know. The real bonus is that you have the whole castle to yourself to explore which is absolutely wonderful. It’s quiet, and peaceful and the supplied breakfast in the kitchen cupboard is fabulous.
The balconies give breathtaking views both up and down the river and the dungeon is an added bonus. There’s also plenty of places to hike and take amazing photos of the castle from a million different angles - which we did.
An unforgettable unique stay well worth the cost and a fabulous way to start our Scotland holiday.
