Davidstow Airfield & Cornwall At War Museum的点评
点评：We were looking for things to do whilst on holiday in Cornwall when the weather wasn't great. I found this museum online and it looked right up my boulevard.
When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff at the gate, and directed where to park. We were quite early and there is ample parking, they even had coach spaces.
We went and paid to go in, and the gentleman gave us an itinerary card and explained the best way to tackle the museum. It was only £17 for a family to get in - bargain.
There is so much to see exhibit wise, that I could have spent all day. In places there are films to watch which show how the museum was formed and about events and experiences there.
About an hour and a half in we stopped at the NAAFI for tea, hot chocolate and to eat our picnic lunch. I was surprised at how fairly priced everything was, unlike many attractions in Cornwall.
The collection itself is varied, and you can see how much effort has been put in to collating it all.
I'll happily go back next time we are in Cornwall to see what we missed.
On the way out I bought my obligatory baseball cap, and some cheese from their creamery in site!
