Absolutely unacceptable behavior by security

点评：I’ve never experienced such hostile, invasive, and discriminatory treatment at any venue in my life. My friends and I purchased tickets to see Loud Luxury, but we left after less than 30 minutes, several of us in tears, because of how horribly we were treated by security.
Three of us were subjected to incredibly aggressive searches. Security opened individually wrapped candy, chewed gum in wrappers, went through every individual tissue in an unopened pack, and searched every compartment of my bag. Meanwhile, another friend received only a quick glance inside her bag and was waved through.
The worst part was how they handled our prescription medications. Security demanded to know my medical diagnosis and insisted on seeing a physical, printed prescription. I offered to show them my prescription through MyChart, but they refused to accept it. When I offered to simply leave rather than surrender my medication, THEY REFUSED TO LET ME TAKE MY MEDICATION AND THREW IT AWAY.
I was visiting from out of state, and this left me without access to my prescribed medication for the remainder of my trip. I had to endure worsening symptoms of my medical condition without the medication I rely on to manage them.
Two of my friends also had issues with their medications, but the rules were applied completely differently to each of us. One was allowed to keep hers after showing MyChart. Another had to leave hers with security and was forced to wear a hospital-style medical bracelet, which is obviously stigmatizing and humiliating.
Then, as we were leaving, we watched security find pills in some dude’s bag. He didn’t have a prescription, but security told him that even a text message saying the pills belonged to him would be sufficient, and they let him enter with them. Apparently, an informal text message was acceptable for him, but my actual medical records weren’t good enough.
This wasn’t one rude employee. Multiple security staff treated us with hostility and intimidation.
I have serious concerns about possible disability discrimination and the legality of confiscating and destroying someone’s medically necessary prescription medication.
We paid money to attend this event and instead left feeling humiliated, frightened, and violated.
I would strongly caution anyone against attending Encore. No show is worth having your health, safety, and dignity treated with such disregard.

后来，在我们离开时，我们看到安保人员在一个男子的包里发现了药片。他没有处方，但安保人员告诉他，哪怕只是发一条短信说明那些药片是他的也行，最终便允许他带着药进入。显然，对他来说，这样一条非正式的短信就足够了。不过，我的医疗记录并不够充分。
并不是只有一个态度恶劣的工作人员，有多名安保人员都以敌意和恐吓的态度对待我们。
我非常担心这里可能存在残疾歧视行为，也担心没收并销毁一个人必需的处方药物这种行为是否合法。
