We love visiting churches but…
库斯科主教座堂的点评
点评：My husband and I love visiting churches around the world. We appreciate the architecture and the history. We were excited to go , although we felt the entrance fee was too high. For us, it was pretty with the excessive gold alters but that was about it. The artwork on the walls were beautiful but we felt there was just too much of it. This cathedral just didn’t feel religious enough for us and we are Catholic! They are doing something with the front door so it is shroud in a bright green wrap, but there were ladders, scaffolds, and other various tools strewn the building. We even were saying a prayer at one of the alters just to notice on one of the pillars, a blood handprint of what looked like a child. I’m sure getting it off of the column is t an easy task but it should t be there. The same alter had crooked artwork on the left and one piece had black garbage bags and cardboard stuffed behind on one corner…maybe to help hold it up if a piece was missing. I don’t usually write bad reviews but this cathedral had no wow factor at all. And although Pope Leo is visiting here in No ember, is it really necessary to have cardboard cutouts of him around every corner and display.
翻译：我和丈夫喜欢参观世界各地的教堂。我们很欣赏它们的建筑风格与历史底蕴。虽然觉得门票价格有些偏高，但我们还是满怀期待地去参观了。对我们来说，教堂虽然漂亮，那些满是金饰的祭坛也挺不错，但也就仅此而已了。墙上的艺术品确实很美，只是数量实在太多了。这座大教堂给我们的宗教氛围感不够，可我们可是天主教徒啊！目前他们正在对前门进行施工，所以整个门面被一层鲜绿色的防护罩给包起来了。不过，建筑物内到处散落着梯子、脚手架以及其他各种工具。我们甚至曾在其中一个祭坛前祈祷，这时注意到其中一根柱子上有一个看起来像是小孩留下的带血手印。我确信要把它从柱子上清理掉并非易事，但它本就不该出现在那里。同一个祭坛的左侧有一些歪斜的艺术品，其中一个角落里还塞着黑色垃圾袋和硬纸板……或许是为了在某个部件缺失时起到支撑作用吧。我通常不会写差评，但这座大教堂实在毫无吸引力可言。虽然利奥教皇将于11月在此访问，但真的有必要在每个角落都摆放他的纸板人像和展示品吗？
