点评：The Danube River banks in Budapest might be one of the most beautiful areas in Europe. Several important monuments, buildings and bridges are around this area including the Hungarian Parliament, Buda Castle, Chain Bridge and Fisherman's Bastion. We did a self guided walking tour around Budapest along the east bank side and kept going back to the river's edge to see more. In the evening we did a walk along the west bank and Buda Castle complex and got amazing views of the west side. Both sides are worthwhile but it depends on how much time your group has.
In the evening on our first night we took a dinner cruise and we would highly recommend doing a dinner cruise along the Danube. We had an excellent time on the River Diva with drinks and good food. The buildings at night are beautifully lit up. It is free to walk around the bank and cross the bridges but a cruise along the Danube can be anywhere from 15 Euros for a basic cruise to a 100 Euros for a fancy dinner with drinks. Do your research and pick what works best for you and look into booking a couple of weeks out if this is something you're interested in.
