Bluebell Railway的点评
点评：Our friends and I had been for dinner here probably 20 years ago. It was time for another. We booked the Golden Arrow 3 course dinner. We arrived for champagne and canapés on the station side and for a quick walk into the museum.
We sat on table 1 of the first carriage - Christine. Also my friend’s wife’s name. Her father having been a train driver. Not steam trains however as she pointed out to me. The walk through the carriage on the way to sit is sublime. Wonderful quality and a walk back in time.
We had selected our meal choice well before the trip. Haddock and Asparagus starters. Roast Beef and Lamb for mains. We all had the wonderful lemon tart to finish. Shout out to Nick for finding another lemon tart we had forgotten to order. Oh and we had ordered cheese to share. Great bottle of wine and the coffee came with 2 chocolate sweets.
The journey is a pleasant chug through the countryside. Enjoying the sights and sounds. Overall a really great value for money experience supported by smiling and helpful staff. We will have to do it again…but sooner than another 20 years.
