Tomb of the Eagles的点评
点评：Absolutely brilliant! Staff at the Visitors Centre were extremely welcoming and took time to really chat with and answer our kids questions.
Weather was typically Orcadian and we got rather soggy on the walk to and from the tomb, but what a walk?! We took the direct route there, spotting the painted stones and marvelling at the female Hen Harrier that followed in the field next to us. We took the scenic route back which was stunning but rather breezy. Take a coat even if it’s sunny!
The Tomb is simply incredible, and the Trolley frankly hilarious! You do need to be steady on your feet and having a willing person to enter first and help shuttle the trolley back out to you is extremely useful.
Even after a week of me being terribly enthusiastic about All The History, the rather sullen teenager truly enjoyed themselves (just don’t tell anyone!).
I really feel this place outshines the other more famous Orcadian sites, due to the staff on site. We felt like we were really welcomed and valued as visitors, rather than simply being in a procession of tour groups.
I was also extremely happy with the ticket price knowing that it is genuinely going to support the site, rather than into a wider national organisation.

我真心觉得，由于这里有如此出色的工作人员，这个地方比奥克尼群岛上其他更为有名的景点还要出色。我们感觉自己作为游客真的受到了欢迎与重视，而不只是众多旅游团中的一员。
