点评：If you are in New Bedford or traveling through New Bedford or are within an hour drive of New Bedford, see the current exhibition at the New Bedford Art Museum (NBAM), "Vanishing Ecologies: Speculative Futures". I saw the exhibition today.
I was totally engaged by the art that explores the Anthropocene, our current geological epoch, that is "characterized by the irreversible impact of human activity on the planet, and considers potential futures that may arise as a result." The exhibition showcases how creativity can bring a light to our world and asks us to create a new conversation about what we can do.
The works are organized so that you re-visit the same artist several times over throughout the exhibition by seeing their work along side of other art/artists. The exhibition is beautiful and memorable and impactful.
The visit can be done in 1 hour; it is affordable; it is comfortable to walk around; family friendly.
