点评:Unfortunately, I found the whole experience incredibly boring and honestly quite disappointing. The atmosphere was at least peaceful and quiet, which was probably one of the best things about it, but there really wasn’t much to actually see or do. It essentially felt like we had travelled there to admire a pool with some water in it. Very groundbreaking stuff 😂! After a few minutes of staring at said water, I was already wondering whether I had somehow missed the interesting part.
Thankfully, admission was completely free, because I think I would have been considerably more annoyed if we had actually paid to get in! There was a corner shop not very far away, which was genuinely quite convenient and possibly one of the highlights of the trip especially because it sold very delicious cinnamon buns. I also think I remember seeing some sort of pub place opposite the corner shop, although I can’t be 100% certain about the pub because my memory can sometimes be absolutely useless, so please don’t plan your entire day around my questionable recollection 😂!
My family and I only managed to spend roughly half an hour here because there simply wasn’t enough to keep us interested for much longer. I’m normally perfectly happy taking my time and properly exploring places, but there comes a point where you have looked at the water from enough different angles. After about half an hour, I felt extremely confident that I had experienced absolutely everything the place had to offer, and I was VERY ready to move on!
It was also incredibly quiet when we visited, with a tiny crowd and barely anyone else around. If you absolutely hate crowds, then congratulations, because this might be your dream destination! Unfortunately, the lack of people somehow made an already uneventful experience feel even more uneventful. The staff we did come across seemed perfectly nice and friendly, although we barely actually saw any of them, so I can’t really comment much on the service.
Overall, I’m extremely glad this was free because I genuinely think I would have been rather annoyed if we had paid an admission fee just to spend half an hour looking at a pool of water. The peaceful atmosphere was nice, and I certainly can’t complain about the price, but unfortunately I found the actual experience painfully boring. I can now officially say that I have seen it, experienced it and stared at the water... and I definitely won’t be rushing back for round two! 😂
