点评:After an enjoyable stroll around the gardens and steam engines, we visitied the garden centre cafe. Really wish we hadn't bothered. Very slow taking orders and unorganised. We were told 25 minute wait for food which seemed ok but after 1 hour I went to ask where our food was. I was told all orders were caught up and waiting to come out. Went back out and sat down, still no sign of food, then tables that had arrived after us started getting theirs! Went back in to complain, got told our order had been lost (I know it happens) but I shouldn't have had to go in a 2nd time to ask for our food - it should have been sorted the first time I asked. We did sit outside but why isn't anyone supervising checking what is happening with the tables, and realised we were waiting before I had to ask. I have worked as a catering supervisor in a hotel in the past and I made sure I knew what was happening with the tables - that was my job!
Anyway they did resolve it and made us fresh drinks and gave us scones to take home, so we stayed and had our meal. My quiche was very disappointing, I didn't expect a cheese and onion quiche to have a layer of balsamic onions on the bottom so thats all I could taste, it had been microwaved so the texture wasn't good - couldn't be bothered to complain again.
We might have then spent some money in the garden centre but the cafe experience spoilt our day and I decided I wasn't spending anymore money there.

我们本来可能会在花园中心买些东西,但咖啡馆的糟糕体验毁了我们的一天,所以我决定不再在那里消费了。
我们不会再来了。
