Othello Tunnels的点评
点评：The Othello Tunnels were originally built as train tunnels for Canada's railway network but they are now a popular road trip stop. They are located about 2 hours east of Vancouver and we visited here during a some sightseeing in BC off the Coquihalla Highway. The area is very scenic in the valley and there is a nice river nearby. This is a great spot to stretch your legs and get some fantastic pictures.
There was plenty of parking when we visited and the area is free to explore and it was not too busy when we got there around noon. The tunnels themselves are a short walk away from the parking area and we read some signage along the way. We spent about 40 minutes in the area to do the walk to the end of the tunnels and then back to our car.
You may want to consider bringing a flashlight for the tunnels because some sections are a bit dark. You should consider wearing a good pair of shoes and be mindful of your footing because there is some water dripping in the tunnels and some uneven footing.
