Love Shack Brewing Co的点评
点评：A bar called The Love Shack wasn't what I was looking for, but the smiles on the patron's faces and the fact that I recognised the retro music and it wasn't too loud decided me to give it a try for a pint and maybe something to eat.
I was very glad I did. This is a place that says that a pub should have good beers (and for those who prefer cider, its from Harcourt, 'nuff said) and a good atmosphere, and they deliver big time on that. Also, no television = yay!
So I asked about the food, and tried the maitre's recommendation. It was excellent; fig and fresh buffalo mozzarella in a balsamic and olive oil dressing, with fresh mint leaves and crushed pistachios. Side dish of garlic focaccia with pickled veg pieces and mayo .
Best of all, although I was solo this time, this is definitely a place I could meet up with friends for a decent catch-up, right in the middle of Castlemaine. I'll be back.
