点评：We have recently returned from another great holiday in Orkney with Alfa. We had one overnight stay in the Inverness area. The hotel, The Craiglynne hotel was clean and the food was good, the staff was pleasant. We then travelled to John O Groats before we continued on the ferry to Kirkwall. Our hotel The Ayre hotel, was spotless, the room was good with all amenities needed. The staff pleasant and friendly especially the bar tender. The food was excellent with a good choice. Our room over looked the harbour. Our guide for the day trip was excellent and her knowledge of Orkney superb. Our driver was brilliant negotiating the tricky roads. We stayed at the CastleCary hotel for two nights on our way back home. This was extremely disappointing, stains on the carpets, loose tiles around the base of the shower, holes in the panelling on the walls to mention just a few, the only information in the room was a laminated sheet that said any damage would be charged to the guest. The quality of the food was poor. On the morning at breakfast my husband picked up a menu the waitress asked if we was in the coach party, when he said yes, she snatched it off him and said that's not available to you. We felt like second class guests. Our day out to the Kelpies and Stirling was great though.
