My husband and I took our 16-year-old son and three of his buddies to celebrate his birthday, and let me just say… taking four teenage boys whitewater rafting was either going to be an amazing idea or something I would seriously regret. 😂 Thankfully, it was AMAZING!
None of us had ever been whitewater rafting before, so we had absolutely no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We did the full Ocoee River trip—Upper AND Middle—and it was an absolute blast!
Our guide, Les, was phenomenal. He somehow managed to keep all six of us safe while also letting the boys do some seriously cool stuff. He really seemed to pick up on what they wanted to try and made the trip feel like it was tailored specifically to our group. Nothing felt rushed, and there was never a moment where we felt like we were just along for the ride.
I was honestly blown away by how well Les knows that river. He seemed to know every rock, rapid, turn and splash before we even got there! 😂 His knowledge and confidence made us feel completely comfortable, even during the moments when I was thinking, “Ummm…are we REALLY supposed to go down that?” 😂
He also shared so much interesting history about the Ocoee and the surrounding area, which was such a nice bonus.
The boys had an absolute blast, and my husband and I had just as much fun as they did. Watching four teenage boys get soaked, thrown around, and completely exhausted while having the time of their lives was pretty priceless. 😂
We went into this thinking it would be a fun birthday experience and left already talking about when we can do it again. I think we may officially be hooked!
If you’ve never been whitewater rafting, DO IT! And if you can get Les as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic day. We can’t recommend Ocoee River Experience enough! 🌊🤙

我们的向导叫莱斯。他表现得极为出色。他设法确保了我们六个人都安然无恙，同时又让孩子们能够体验一些非常酷的活动。他似乎完全理解孩子们想尝试什么，让这次旅行仿佛是专门为我们这群人量身定制的。整个行程毫无仓促之感，我们也从未有过只是被带着凑热闹的感觉。
说实话，莱斯对那条河流的熟悉程度真的让我惊叹不已。甚至在我们到达之前，他似乎就已经对河中的每一块石头、每一个急流、每一个弯道以及水花飞溅的情形了如指掌！😂 他的学识与自信让我们感到无比安心，即便在我心里暗想“呃……我们真的要从那里下去吗？”的时候也是如此。😂
他还讲述了许多关于奥科伊河及周边地区的有趣历史，这真是个意外的惊喜。
孩子们玩得乐不可支，我和丈夫也和他们一样开心。看着四个十几岁的男孩被水淋透、被浪花甩来甩去……虽然累得筋疲力尽，但那种享受过程的快乐简直无价啊。😂
我们原本只是想着这会是一次有趣的生日体验，结果离开时已经在商量什么时候能再来一次了。我想我们算是彻底上瘾了！
如果你从来没尝试过漂流，一定要试试！如果能请到莱斯当向导，那你一定会度过极其美好的一天。我们真心极力推荐Ocoee River Experience！🌊🤙
