点评：I have never been one who likes to fuss and complain, however, this "security issue" requires further scrutiny from the proprietors. My sister and I found ourselves in need of a bookcase with some character so antiquing was on the docket. We decided to begin our quest at a location unknown to us but looked promising, your establishment. We fueled up on a hearty breakfast which included tea and coffee. It is not our style to bring a beverage into any kind of store, so we were stood just inside the doors finishing our beverages when a tall and gangly young man rushed towards us. I thought his urgent demeanor might have been due to our almost finished beverages. In a practiced polite verse, he informed us we were not allowed into the premise with our bag which we, as well as a large majority of ladies, call a purse. Then, the now further stressed young man explained the 10-inch restriction on purses and offered to take our bag with him, or we could leave it in the car. We were a tad flabbergasted by the ridiculous drama to simply enter an antique store. So, we said OK, walked out, finished our beverages and left the whole building in our rear view. A couple of purely informational points I would like to state: First: another shopper, a lady with almost the identical purse, was INSIDE and shopping happily with her purse on her shoulder; Second: it should be noted that we did in fact measure our purse later in the afternoon and you know what we discovered? Our purse was 10.75 inches, so, good job to the employees for their keen observational skills. IF theft and safety are of a big concern, we certainly are NOT going to hand our purse to an unknown person nor are we going to leave our purse in the car. If your business is thriving, good for you but it will not be because of our patronage. There is a happy ending, however, to our weekend antiquing adventure: we went to one of our very favorite and very FRIENDLY places, Traditions Antiques in Wildwood. We have been going there for years. To all the other upset antique enthusiasts, I highly recommend checking out Traditions in Wildwood, they are lovely people.
