Once Upon A Time In America Museum的点评
点评：This place will amaze you with every step you take – not exaggerating!
We were greeted with a warm welcome from the woman behind the counter, Kathie. She gave us a brief intro to the museum… as we listened, we entered with skepticism, as you may as well… but OH! My-My! The things you will see as you walk thru the museum are rare, authenticated, and really interesting artifacts. We had to ask ourselves, “How is some of this not in the Smithsonian?” 😊
We took a break from walking thru the museum after getting about ½ way to have a bite to eat at the Smokehouse. The owner’s, Nichol & Jason, are wonderful, down-to-earth people who love what they do and it shows. With them and the staff, it feels like such a family experience (Nichol even sharing recipe techniques with us). The menu had some unique things and Jules, our waitress, was fun. Jacob mixed us tableside smoked old fashions that were the best we ever had. It all added to the pleasure of the evening.
After dinner, we finished our walk of the museum and were delighted to spend time with the owners as they discussed the stories behind their unique finds. What a treat! And if you enjoy classic cars… wait till the end. No surprises given away – you have to see for yourself!
