Escape the City and Blow Off Some Steam!

点评：What a perfect way to escape the hot, crowded city! I visited with my two adult sons for some relaxation and fun, and Damir made our experience unforgettable. As our Range Safety Officer and Instructor, his instructions were crystal clear and his focus on safety was top-notch. He quickly evaluated our firearm familiarity and customized the experience, offering excellent shooting tips and a few fun challenges along the way. Damir is a true professional!
We shot our choice of 9mm pistols - CZ P-07, Springfield XD Tactical, and Glock 19. For rifles we chose to shoot the Steyr AUG, Springfield Hellion, and a Polish WASR AK all in 5.56mm. Most enjoyable in my opinion, was experiencing the PDWs, the Croatian HS Kuna and Bosnian Alfa SMG-9 both in semi auto only.
Two things to note; first, we were warned to bring insect repellant. We did in fact bring some spray however, upon arriving it didn't seem buggy at all and chose not to use it. Oh boy - those mosquitoes are real ninjas! When we returned to our lodgings, I noticed I had a dozen or so small itchy bites. Overall, the experience was worth it and the bug bites did not diminish or distract from this great experience!
Second, the turn-off comes upon you quickly, be cautious! On GPSs it appears it's a walk from the paved road when in fact it is a single track dirt road. In our case, we drove a bit more slowly so I could pay attention to the signage while also realizing the locals are familiar with, and drive this main road daily. For us it was a fun excursion but for them it was another work day.

另外，岔路口出现得很快，务必要小心！在GPS上显示好像是从铺好的公路走一段路就能到达，但实际上那是一条单车道的土路。就我们的情况而言……我们开车时稍慢了一些，这样我就能留意路标；同时也意识到当地人对此主干道再熟悉不过，每天都要在这条路上行驶。对我们来说这是一次有趣的郊游，但对他们而言不过是又一个工作日罢了。
