Just WOW! First and foremost, a huge shout out and thank you to Isaak, Tumaa, Alex, Gerald, Moses, Ally, Brian, Stephano, John, Jonathan, and Jofrey! Each of these men not only provided the most exceptional support and service, but also friendship and support. They are an inspiring bunch we will never forget!
We first met Tumaa at the airport, where he picked us up...after arriving with no luggage (it was all left in Denmark). His spirit was bright, and made us feel like everything was going to be O.K- Akuna Matata
The following day, we went on our planned exploration of the Materuni village and waterfalls with Tumaa- Definitely do this if you have time!
Thereafter, Tumaa coordinated us renting gear so we could begin our trek up the mountain! His plan (that he delivered on) was to have our bags retrieved when they arrived to Arusha, and transported up the mountain to us. This occurred 2 days later, and our trip never missed a beat because of his quick planning and resolution.
What I didn't know we would be blessed with: a private tent with dining table and chairs, our sugar man/ waiter - Alex, warm water basins daily to cleans with, a private bathroom tent and rinse station, restaurant quality fresh cooked meals 3 times a day with deserts, and amazing comradery all the way to the top of Africa and back down.
During this climb, I became quite ill with the flu from day 3 on- on summit morning, I was still running fevers- but was determined to summit! On our second break, Alex appeared (I did not even know he was climbing with us). He placed a mug in my hand and poured a hot cup of ginger honey tea for me. I don't think you are going to find other providers that offer this type of genuine care for their clients. We summited with the best team ever, and will cherish the memories of this climb!
You will not go wrong with Climbing Kilimanjaro!

我没想到我们会如此幸运：拥有一个带餐桌椅的私人帐篷，我们的贴心服务员——亚历克斯，每天都有热水盆供我们洗漱，独立的卫生间帐篷和冲洗区，一日三餐都是餐厅品质的新鲜烹制餐点，还有甜点，以及一路上一路陪伴我们登上非洲之巅并返回的无比温暖的伙伴情谊。
攀登过程中，我从第三天开始就得了重感冒——登顶那天早上我还在发烧——但我决心要登顶！第二次休息时，亚历克斯出现了（我之前甚至不知道他跟我们一起登山）。他递给我一个杯子，给我倒了一杯热腾腾的姜蜜茶。我想你很难找到其他像他这样真心实意为客户服务的旅行社了。我们和史上最棒的团队一起登顶，这次攀登的记忆将永远珍藏在我们心中！
