点评：Went for a society day and after reading recent reviews was worried
The course overall was very good,
Greens - all the new greens were excellent and I have never played on greens with that level of slope on them they were very very good. Some of the old greens had bare patches on but the green keepers had put flags in positions where there was plenty of grass and overall I wouldn't complain about 1 single green on the course.
Fairways - some were firm but after 3 weeks with out rain to be expected plenty of grass on them and again no complaints.
Tee boxes - overall playable but there needs to be some work and care given to them to bring them back up to standard.
Rough - THICK 😂
Could see what looked like an amazing driving range and practice facility at top end of course being built will be amazing but very far from clubhouse. We werent pointed to the Himalayan style practice green before we played but saw it when out on the course and wished we had chance to have a go.
Bar and food - we had set menu and all food was brought out with no issues and was delicious. Bar staff all friendly. No complaints again.
Price - £80 for bacon sarnies and coffees on arrival 18holes on douglas course and 2 course meal afterwards is excellent value for money i think.
I have not one complaint about any aspect of our trip, and would like to visit in a year or 2 once all works are completed and see how much better the course is its a tough test a very long walk and definitely worth playing.

酒吧与餐饮方面——我们点了套餐，所有食物都顺利上桌且味道极佳。酒吧工作人员也都很友善。同样没有任何可挑剔之处。
价格方面——抵达时花了80英镑买了培根三明治和咖啡，之后在道格拉斯球场打了18洞，最后还享用了一顿两道菜的晚餐。我觉得这样的性价比相当出色。
对于这次旅行的方方面面，我毫无怨言。我打算在一两年后，等所有工程都完工时再去参观，看看球场状况能改善到什么程度。这是一项极具挑战性的测试——路程非常漫长，但绝对值得一玩。
